Why we built it
LandlordAhead was started by Ash, our founder, who comes to renting from the other side: as a tenant.
“I’ve been through it more than once: chasing the same question again and again, certificates expiring with nobody noticing, and paperwork going missing just when I needed it, whether for benefits evidence or to settle a dispute. Most of it came down to not having a system. LandlordAhead is the system I wish my landlords had used, because good records protect landlords and tenants alike.”

LandlordAhead is built and run by Stockulate Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15893175). Registered office: 81 Leamington Drive, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, NG17 5BE.
How we keep the information accurate
- Every rule and date we publish comes from the official source, usually GOV.UK or the HSE, and we link to it.
- We show when we last checked. The PRS register dates were checked against GOV.UK guidance on 3 Nov 2026.
- When the law changes we add a short note to law updates explaining what changed and what to do.
What we are not
LandlordAhead is a record-keeping and reminder tool. It isn’t legal advice and isn’t affiliated with GOV.UK or any council. For advice on your own situation, speak to a solicitor or a landlord association.
